Overview

QR Code Payment Splitter is a tool that generates UPI payment QR codes. This policy explains what information is used and how it is handled.

Saved UPI IDs

When you add a merchant UPI ID, it is stored in your browser's localStorage. This data stays on your device and is not sent to or stored on our server. You can remove a saved UPI ID at any time, and clearing your browser data removes all saved UPI IDs.

Bill amounts and transaction references

Bill amounts are processed in your browser to generate the payment split. Transaction references are generated locally for display. We do not maintain a server-side database of your bills or transactions.

Payment information

We never ask for and never store your UPI PIN, bank password, OTP, debit card PIN or net banking credentials. Actual payment processing happens through the customer's UPI app and the relevant payment infrastructure. We only create payment requests.

Contact form

If you submit the contact form, your name, email and message are stored in a server-side log file so we can respond. This information is not shared publicly.

Logs

The server may log technical errors for maintenance. These logs do not contain sensitive payment information.
