Frequently Asked Questions About QR Code Payment Splitter
Learn how QR Code Payment Splitter creates multiple UPI payment QR codes from one customer bill while keeping every QR amount at ₹1,999 or less and the combined amount exactly equal to the bill.
What is QR Code Payment Splitter?
QR Code Payment Splitter is a free online tool that converts one customer bill into multiple UPI payment QR codes. Each QR requests no more than ₹1,999 and all generated QR amounts add up exactly to the Total Bill Amount.
How does QR Code Payment Splitter split a bill?
The tool first calculates the minimum number of QR codes required so that no individual QR exceeds ₹1,999. It then randomly distributes the bill across those QR codes using exact paise arithmetic, ensuring that the final sum matches the bill exactly.
Are QR payment amounts randomized?
Yes. Each time you generate QR codes for a bill, the individual payment amounts are randomized. The total amount does not change, and every QR remains at or below ₹1,999.
Can any QR code receive more than ₹1,999?
No. QR Code Payment Splitter limits every generated payment QR code to a maximum of ₹1,999.
How many QR codes will I get?
The tool uses the minimum number of QR codes needed for the bill. For example, ₹4,500 requires three QR codes because two QR codes can cover at most ₹3,998.
Does the total of all QR codes exactly match the bill?
Yes. The splitter uses exact paise-based calculations, so the sum of every generated QR amount is exactly equal to the Total Bill Amount.
What remark is added to each QR code?
Each QR includes a payment remark such as “Payment received from QR Code No. 1”, “Payment received from QR Code No. 2”, and so on. This helps the merchant match a successful-payment screenshot with the correct QR code.
Does QR Code Payment Splitter automatically detect payment status?
No. The current version does not provide automatic payment-status verification. The merchant should verify successful UPI payments through the relevant UPI app or bank account and use the QR number and payment remark for reconciliation.
Can I use a saved merchant UPI ID?
Yes. You can save multiple UPI IDs in the browser and select the required merchant UPI ID before generating QR codes. Saved UPI IDs are stored locally in the browser.
Can customers use different UPI apps?
The generated QR uses a UPI payment URI containing the merchant UPI ID, amount and payment details. Customers can scan it with a compatible UPI-enabled payment app.
Does the website process or hold the payment?
No. QR Code Payment Splitter only generates the payment QR information. The actual UPI transaction is completed through the customer’s UPI app and the participating banks/payment infrastructure.
Is QR Code Payment Splitter free to use?
Yes. The QR Code Payment Splitter tool is provided as a free online utility for generating UPI payment QR codes.
